adidas LA Trainer OG

Iconic sneakers with Olympic DNA - adidas LA Trainer

Looking for the perfect blend of retro style and all-day comfort? The adidas LA Trainer is one of the greatest legends of street style. This model debuted during the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and quickly won the hearts of elite athletes and urban culture enthusiasts alike. Today, these stylish sneakers are a must-have for anyone who appreciates timeless design and the historic legacy of the three-stripe brand.

Revolutionary cushioning you can customize

The standout technological feature and signature of the adidas LA Trainer is the Vario Shock Absorption system. In the midsole right under the heel, you’ll find three color pegs. When they were first introduced, they served more than just decoration:

• Custom fit: In the original 1984 design, they allowed runners to adjust the cushioning hardness based on their weight and the type of surface.
• Design signature: Today, they are an iconic visual element that instantly distinguishes these retro sneakers from any other footwear on the market.

Materials and style that never age

These men's and women's sneakers combine a breathable mesh upper with premium suede panels. This makes them exceptionally durable while providing optimal ventilation for your feet. The rubber outsole with a prominent stud pattern ensures great traction and stability in urban terrain.

Fun facts about the LA Trainer model

• A real key in the box: In the 80s, you received a special tool with the sneakers that allowed you to actually pull out and adjust the pegs from the heel.
• From the track to the streets: Although they started as pure running shoes, they are now an essential part of outfits with jeans, joggers, or shorts.
• Distinctive retro vibe: This is one of the most frequently reissued models from the adidas Originals archive.
